Blue in colour these points were used on the latest 59D type distributors from about 1980 on up to the introduction of electronic distributor with only rotor arm."Sliding" points for 59D4 distributors,
keep a spare set!
Electronic Ignition distributor, fitted as standard to all 1300 Carb Cooper models. Also Metro 1275cc engine.
Replacement service items for this are:
Cap GDC156
Rotor arm GRA2143
Should be used with GCL143 coil.
Genuine Lucas boxed this was the first mini distributor cap to have screws
hold the cap to the body from about 1990 on, when electonic ignition was introduced.
Therefore there is no points or condenser but the rotor arm to use is GRA2143.
Fits all 1992 onwards injection cars up until 1997.
